Disable Version Control

If you no longer require Version Control, it can be disabled. This will remove the local repository, so be sure to sync any changes you want to keep on the remote. If you are deleting the remote repository at this time as well, you can save the projects to a separate location using Save As. If you do not do so, they will be deleted.

CAUTION: When disabling Version Control, the projects in your local repository will be deleted, even if you are not deleting the remote repository. If there are any local changes you wish to keep, you must save the project to a separate location using Save As.

To disable Version Control, follow the steps below.

  1. In the Home tab, click Repo.
  2. Uncheck Enable Version Control.
  3. When prompted to disable Version Control, click Yes.
  4. If you are deleting the remote repository, enter the word DELETE into the text box to confirm. Otherwise, leave it blank. Click OK.
CAUTION: Deleting the remote repository will destroy all projects within it. If you are unsure, do not delete the remote repository.
