Export Debug Tools Logs

The logs in Debug Tools can be exported as a file. This creates a record of the logs being viewed.

Note: Your layout and formatting rules are kept when exporting as a PDF.

Export as File

To export the logs as a file, go to Home > Export and select the file type. You can choose from:

  • Text
  • CSV

Write to File

The logs can be saved to a file instead of being captured live. This is useful if you do not want to actively look at the data, but still want to continuously log the activity and debugging messages for later inspection. To write the logs to a file:

  1. Go to Home > Options.

  2. Click File and check the Write to File checkbox.
  3. Configure file Folder Path for where you want to save the file to.
  4. Set the New File After to set the maximum file size before Debug Tools creates a new file to export to.
  5. Click OK.
