Add a Label

A Label can be added to a Display layout or Map. These can be used to accompany assets, controls, or areas of a Map.

1. In Project Explorer go to Maps or Display layouts and double-click to open the Map or Display layout on which you will add a Label.
2. In the Drawing pane click Label.
   
3. Click the location on the Display layout or Map where you want to place the Label.
   
4. In the Properties grid open the Label tree. Insert what you want the label to say in the Text field.
   
5. To customize the text, go to Properties > Text Properties.
