Import/Export Access and Identity Management Data
Access and Identity Management data can be imported and exported to and from .JSON files. This feature is useful for creating portable Access and Identity Management configurations, allowing for faster setup and easier troubleshooting.
Export Data to a .JSON File
To use Export:
- In the Access and Identity Management Dashboard click on the Admin tab.

Click on the Export. This will generate a .JSON file with the following
headers:
Project - ID
- Name
Users - ID
- Username
- First Name
- Last Name
- Description
- Is Disabled
- Group IDs
- Created At
- Last Modified At
- Prevent Deletion
- Is Pin Only
- Third Party Credential ID
Groups - ID
- Name
- Description
- Can Access Dashboard
- Created At
- Last Modified At
- Prevent Deletion
Password Defaults -
Default Password
Password Policy - Min Length
- Max Length
- Require Number
- Require Special
Password Expiration - Expiration Enabled
- Valid Days
PIN Defaults - Default PIN
PIN Policy - Min Length
- Max Length

Note: Exported files do not include any user credential information.
- After exporting, the .JSON file will be saved to your computer's Downloads folder.
- Open the file to see available data. It is also possible to modify the data by changing the information in the .JSON file.
Import Data From a .JSON File
To use Import:
Warning: Importing overwrites any current configuration and cannot be undone.
- In the Access and Identity Management Dashboard click on the Admin tab.

Locate the desired .JSON file on the device.
Note: You will receive a warning message: "Import will overwrite all groups and users. PINs and passwords will reset to default. This action cannot be undone."

Click OK. You will receive an Import Successful message and be logged out.
Note: Following import, all user and administrative accounts will be reset to the default password and prompted to set a new password upon login.
