Sub-Report

The Sub-Report control item is used to insert another report into the report you are working on. This allows you to include the information from that report without having to recreate it.

To use a Sub-Report, follow the steps below.

  1. In the ReportToolHostWindow, select the Sub-Report from the Toolbox.
  2. Click and drag over the area to place the Sub-Report in.
  3. In the Property Grid, set the Report Source to the report to insert. If you do not see your report in the list, you can select Report Source Url and navigate to the report (.rpt) file.
