Bosch Security
The Bosch Security integrated system provides access control integration.
Definitions
Area — An area encompassing many points, outputs, or doors that will be the source of alarms.
Point — An individual sensor or point that is used to trigger an alarm in its area.
RPS — Remote Programming Software. Bosch software is used to remotely program control panels.

Compatibility
The Bosch Security integrated system is compatible with B and G Series panels.

Communication Configuration
In the integrated system configuration panel, you will find the Communication Settings. The below information is required.
Address | The IP Address or host name of the Bosch Security control panel. |
Port | The Port number for the Bosch Security control panel connection. |
Product ID | The Bosch Security control panel Product ID. |
Password | The automation pass code of the Bosch Security control panel. |
Assets
Area Asset
This asset represents an area in the Bosch Security control panel.
Required Property Grid Fields
Area Number | The Area Number in the Bosch Security control panel. |
Supported States
Acknowledged | An asset alarm has been acknowledged. |
Alarm - Burglary Alarm | A burglary has been detected. |
Alarm - Burglary Supervisor | Early signs of a burglary have been detected. |
Alarm - Burglary Trouble | A burglary has been detected and there is an issue (such as power loss). |
Alarm - Fire Alarm | A fire has been detected. |
Alarm - Fire Supervisor | Early signs of a fire have been detected. |
Alarm - Fire Trouble | A fire has been detected and there is an issue (such as power loss). |
Alarm - Gas Alarm | Gas has been detected. |
Alarm - Gas Supervisor | Early signs of there being gas have been detected. |
Alarm - Gas Trouble | Has been detected and there is an issue (such as a low battery). |
Alarm - Personal Emergency | Triggered by a user experiencing an emergency. |
Alarm - Unknown | An alarm with an unknown source has been triggered. |
All On - Entry Delay | The area is armed. There is a delay before triggering an alarm on entry to the area. |
All On - Exit Delay | The area is armed. There is a delay before triggering an alarm on exit from the area. |
All On - Instant Armed | The area is armed. There is no delay before triggering an alarm. |
Area Disabled | The area is unarmed. |
Area On | The area is armed. |
Fault | An issue has been detected in a connected asset. |
Masked | The asset has been masked over its true state. |
No Communication | Communication has been lost with the driver or asset. This status can
also occur if the communication configuration for the system or asset is
invalid. Note: This status is required in all status
tables.

Not Ready to Arm | The area is disarmed and not ready to be rearmed. |
Not Set | The area is not armed. |
Part On - Delay | Part of the area has delayed arming. |
Part On - Entry Delay | Part of the area is armed. There is a delay before triggering an alarm on entry to the area. |
Part On - Exit Delay | Part of the area is armed. There is a delay before triggering an alarm on entry from the area. |
Part On - Instant | Part of the area is armed. There is no delay before triggering an alarm. |
Ready to Arm | The area is disarmed and ready to be rearmed. |

Acknowledge | Acknowledge an asset alarm. |
Away Arm | Arm the area for when no one is to be in the area. |
Cancel | Deselects all selected assets. |
Disarm | Disarm the area. |
Force All On - Delay | Arm the entire area with a delay. |
Force All On - Instant | Arm the entire area immediately. |
Force Away Arm | Arm the area with an away arm. |
Force Part On - Delay | Arm part of the area with a delay. |
Force Part On - Instant | Arm part of the area immediately. |
Force Stay One Alarm | Arm the area for when no one is to be entering, but there will be someone in the area. |
Mask | Mask the asset's true state. |
Reset | Resets the asset to its true hardware state. |
Set All On - Delay | Turn on all assets in the area with a delay. |
Set All On - Instant | Turn on all assets in the area immediately. |
Set Part On - Delay | Turn on some of the assets in the area with a delay. |
Set Part On - Instant | Turn on some of the assets in the area immediately. |
Stay One Arm | Arms the system to alarm for entry or exit of the area only. |

Door Asset
This asset represents a door in the Bosch Security control panel.
Required Property Grid Fields
Door Number | The Door Number in the Bosch Security control panel. |
Supported States
Acknowledged | An asset alarm has been acknowledged. |
Cycling | The door is being temporarily unlocked. |
Fault | An issue has been detected in a connected asset. |
Inactive | This door will not be included for alarms. |
Learn | This state is used to configure a key fob or card. |
Locked | The door is locked. |
Masked | The asset has been masked over its true state. |
Missing | The system can not find this door. |
No Communication | Communication has been lost with the driver or asset. This status can
also occur if the communication configuration for the system or asset is
invalid. Note: This status is required in all status
tables.

Normal | The asset is online and in its default state. |
Secure | The door is closed and locked. |
Unlocked | The door is unlocked. |

Cycle | Cycles the door (unlock, then lock). |
Mask | Mask the asset's true state. |

Terminate Secure Mode | Sets the door to its default state. |
Terminate Unlock Mode | Sets the door its default state. |
Unlock | Unlocks the door. |

Output Asset
This asset represents an output device in the Bosch Security control panel.

Point Asset
The point asset is a representation of a point in the Bosch Security control panel.

Point Number | The Point Number in the Bosch Security control panel. |
Supported States
Acknowledged | An asset alarm has been acknowledged. |
Fault | An issue has been detected in a connected asset. |
Masked | The asset has been masked over its true state. |
No Communication | Communication has been lost with the driver or asset. This status can
also occur if the communication configuration for the system or asset is
invalid. Note: This status is required in all status
tables.

Normal | The asset is online and in its default state. |
Open | The point's circuit has been opened. This can be used to trigger an alarm. |
Rx2 | Receiving information over an Rx2 signal. |
Rx3 | Receiving information over an Rx3 signal. |
Short | An issue has been detected in the point's hardware. |
Unassigned | The point is not assigned to a physical piece of hardware. |
Unknown | The state can not be determined. |
Bypass | This state is used to bypass an alarmed state.
Note: Bypass must be used as a multistate status alongside its regular state.
The default is Bypass and Normal.

Mask | Mask the asset's true state. |
Reset | Resets the asset to its true hardware state. |
Bypass | Temporarily silences the current status of the point asset. This allows the point status to not affect the ability to arm the system. |
Unbypass | Removes the bypassed state from the point. |

System Asset
This asset represents the connection state of the Bosch Security control panel.
Supported States
Acknowledged | An asset alarm has been acknowledged. |
Attempting Connection | The system is currently trying to connect with Runtime. |
Battery Low | The battery has a low charge. |
Battery Missing | There is no battery in the control panel. |
Battery OK | The battery is in the panel and charged. |
Connected | The control panel is connected to Runtime. |
Disconnected | The control panel is not connected to Runtime. |
Disconnecting | The control panel is disconnecting from Runtime. |
Fault | An issue has been detected in a connected asset. |
Masked | The asset has been masked over its true state. |
No Communication | Communication has been lost with the driver or asset. This status can
also occur if the communication configuration for the system or asset is
invalid. Note: This status is required in all status
tables.

Power Failed | The control panel is unable to get power. |

Troubleshooting
Logs from the driver and Runtime can be viewed in the Debug Tools client. These messages contain information which can provide further context for issues during initialization, or while actively running. This can help diagnose problems.
