March Networks Command
The March Networks Command integrated system provides video management integration.
Definitions
VMS — Video Management System.
CES — Command Enterprise Server. The management server for March Networks Command.
Recording Server — A recording server is where cameras are located in the VMS and where footage is recorded and saved to.

Compatibility
The March Networks Command integrated system is compatible with:
- 8000 Series Hybrid Recorders (v8.5.0 or greater)
- 8000 Series Tribrid Recorders (v8.5.0 or greater)
- 9000 Series IP Recorders (v8.5.0 or greater)
- Command Recording Server (v2.0.0 or greater)
- Command Enterprise Server (v2.0.0 or greater)

When completing your setup, be sure to have the March Networks Command documentation available for reference.
Communication Configuration
In the integrated system configuration panel, you will find the Communication Settings. The following information is required:
Address | The IP address or host name of the CES. |
Port | The Port number for the CES connection.
By default, it is:

Username | The Username for the CES user. This is typically a user created specifically for the Runtime connection. |
Password | The Password for the CES user. |
Assets
Camera Asset
This asset represents a camera in the March Networks Command system.
Required Property Grid Fields
Device Channel ID | The identifier of the Device Channel containing the camera video feed. |
Supported States
No Communication | Communication has been lost with the driver or asset. This status can
also occur if the communication configuration for the system or asset is
invalid. Note: This status is required in all status
tables.

Normal | The asset is online and in its default state. |
Masked | The asset has been masked over its true state. |
Acknowledged | An asset alarm has been acknowledged. |
Fault | An issue has been detected in a connected asset. |

Reset | Resets the asset to its true hardware state. |
Cancel | Deselects all selected assets. |

System Asset
This asset represents the connection state of the March Networks Command system.
Supported States
Normal | The asset is online and in its default state. |
Masked | The asset has been masked over its true state. |
Fault | An issue has been detected in a connected asset. |
Acknowledged | An asset alarm has been acknowledged. |
No Communication | Communication has been lost with the driver or asset. This status can
also occur if the communication configuration for the system or asset is
invalid. Note: This status is required in all status
tables.

Troubleshooting
Logs from the driver and Runtime can be viewed in the Debug Tools client. These messages contain information which can provide further context for issues during initialization, or while actively running. This can help diagnose problems.
