DSC PowerSeries

The DSC PowerSeries integrated system provides access control integration.

Compatibility

The DSC PowerSeries integrated system is compatible with the below panels and is tested using the TL280R panel.

Communication Configuration

In the integrated system configuration panel, you will find the Communication Settings. The below information is required.

Table 1. Connection Settings
Address The address of the server hosting the DSC PowerSeries driver.
Port The Port number for the DSC PowerSeries control panel connection.
Table 2. Authentication
Integration Identification Number The defined Integration Identification Number for your DSC panel.
Integration Access Code The Integration Access Code configured when setting up your DSC panel.
Master Code The Master Code configured when setting up your DSC panel.
Note: Red X indicates an invalid or out of range value given for field.

Assets

System Asset

This asset represents the connection to the DSC panel.

Supported States

Normal The asset is online and in its default state.
Masked The asset has been masked over its true state.
Fault An issue has been detected in a connected asset.
Acknowledged An asset alarm has been acknowledged.
No Communication Communication has been lost with the driver or asset. This status can also occur if the communication configuration for the system or asset is invalid.
Note: This status is required in all status tables.

Supported Commands

Mask Mask the asset's true state.
Acknowledge Acknowledge an asset alarm.
Reset Resets the asset to its true hardware state.
Cancel Deselects all selected assets.

Partition Asset

This asset represents a partition in the DSC system.

Required Property Grid Fields

Partition ID The identifier for the partition this asset represents.

Supported States

Note: This asset supports multistate, meaning the asset can be in multiple statuses at once.
Masked The asset has been masked over its true state.
Fault An issue has been detected in a connected asset.
Acknowledged An asset alarm has been acknowledged.
No Communication Communication has been lost with the driver or asset. This status can also occur if the communication configuration for the system or asset is invalid.
Note: This status is required in all status tables.
Disarmed The partition is disarmed.
Stay Armed The partition is armed in stay mode.
Stay Armed With No Entry Delay The partition is armed in stay mode without a delay given for people to enter/exit the area first.
Away Armed The partition is armed in away mode.
Away Armed With No Entry Delay The partition is armed in away mode without a delay given for people to enter/exit the area first.
Night Mode Armed The partition is armed in night mode.
In Alarm An alarm is active within the partition.
Ready The partition is ready to be armed.
Not Ready The partition is not ready to be armed.

Reset Resets the asset to its true hardware state.
Mask Mask the asset's true state.
Cancel Deselects all selected assets.
Acknowledge Acknowledge an asset alarm.
Disarm Disarms the partition.
Arm Stay Mode Arms the partition in stay mode.
No-Entry Arming in Stay Mode Arms the partition in stay mode without providing a delay.
Arm Away Mode Arms the partition in away mode.
No-Entry Arming in Away Mode Arms the partition in away mode without providing a delay.
Arm Night Mode Arms the partition in night mode.
Activate Output Activates a specified output ID.
Deactivate Output Deactivates a specified output ID.
Toggle Output Activates a deactivated output by ID, and vice versa.

Zone Asset

This asset represents a zone in the DSC system.

Required Property Grid Fields

Zone ID The identifier for the zone this asset represents.

Bypassed The zone is currently bypassed.
Not Bypassed The zone is not bypassed.
In Alarm An alarm is active in the zone.
No Alarm There are no active alarms in the zone.
Open The zone input is currently in an open-circuit state.
Closed The zone input is currently in a closed closed-circuit state.
