Cooper WaveLinx

The Cooper WaveLinx integrated system provides individual control of lights. The Cooper WaveLinx system is integrated into IPFusion by design. For further information about this integration, please contact support.

Note: BACnet integrated systems support cross subdomain communication via BBMD (BACnet Broadcast Management Device) without the need for additional configuration in Designer.

Compatibility

The Cooper WaveLinx integrated system is compatible with the BMS Pro 2 device.

Communication Configuration

You will find the Communication Settings in the integrated system configuration panel. The following information is required:


IP Address	The IP Address of the WaveLinx BACnet gateway.
Port	The Port for the WaveLinx BACnet gateway connection.
Device ID	The Device ID of the WaveLinx BACnet gateway.

Note: Red X indicates an invalid or out of range value given for field.

Assets

Dimmer

Dimmer assets represent a dimmable light within the Cooper WaveLinx system.

Required Property Grid Fields


BACnet ID	The ID of the BACnet entity the asset represents.

Supported States


Acknowledged	An asset alarm has been acknowledged.
Fault	An issue has been detected in a connected asset.
Masked	The asset has been masked over its true state.
No Communication	Communication has been lost with the driver or asset. This status can also occur if the communication configuration for the system or asset is invalid. Note: This status is required in all status tables.
Percent Dimmed Range	The current power level of the light falls within the range specified in the status configuration. Lower Threshold — Lowest value of the power level of the light in a user-defined range. Upper Threshold — Highest value of the power level of the light in a user-defined range.

Supported Commands


Acknowledge	Acknowledge an asset alarm.
Cancel	Deselects all selected assets.
Mask	Mask the asset's true state.
Percent Dim	Sets the dimmer to a specific light level from 0 (off) to 100 (brightest). Light Level — The light level from 0-100 for the dimmer.
Reset	Resets the asset to its true hardware state.

System

This asset represents the connection from Runtime to the Cooper WaveLinx system.

Troubleshooting

Logs from the driver and Runtime can be viewed in the Debug Tools client. These messages contain information which can provide further context for issues during initialization, or while actively running. This can help diagnose problems.
